PERFORMING ARTS & FILM CAMP
Youth ages 9-24 are taught by trained staff to develop their skills in acting, dancing, and singing in the making of an original motion picture. At the end of the seven-week program, youth showcase their talents at a red-carpet screening event held at a local movie theatre for a memorable experience!
The goal of the Bethel Family Resource Center’s Summer Performing Arts Camp is to ensure that young adults can experience the world of performing arts by offering an affordable alternative to the programs that were once available to them in schools. By using the performing arts as a tool, we teach Youth valuable life skills such as self-confidence, risk-taking, and working with others toward a common goal, whether they are novices or seasoned veterans. Youth can learn, grow, and freely explore new ideas by focusing on cooperation in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Therefore, we strive to provide your child with a safe, fun, and exciting environment in which to learn theater skills. We provide the highest-quality theater education while encouraging students to hone their unique talents, develop their confidence, and discover the joy of artistic expression. Each student is given the opportunity to shine in his/her own way.
